31 professors-researchers of the National University of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (UNSTIM) of Abomey have been elevated in various grades following the deliberations of the 44th session of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES).
” Merit envies success, and success is taken for merit” said Jean Rostand. This proverb seems to capture the commitment of teachers at the National University of Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (UNSTIM) in Abomey. They are indeed 31 professors-researchers of various specialties who have just been admitted on the various lists of CAMES for the 2022 session. These include 03 Full Professors; 14 Senior Lecturers and 14 Assistant Lecturers. This result shows the world that the teachers of this young university have ambitions for excellence.
It should be recalled that 32 professors took part in this exercise, in 04 CTS and several specialities, the results of which were published at the end of the 44th Session of the CAMES Inter-African Consultative Committees (CCI) held in Guinea Conakry from 4 to 24 July by videoconference. The Rector Joachim Djimon GBENOU has just been honoured by this deserved success of his professor colleagues. For him and his Rectoral Council, these results are the result of a great deal of effort and self-sacrifice on the part of the Scientific Council which he chairs.
