And some sub-committees have already submitted their reports to the Presidium.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, according to the recommendations of the sub-commission entitled &#8220;Form of State, Constitution, institutional reforms and electoral process&#8221;, the presidential term of office will be 7 years, renewable once. And to be a presidential candidate, you must be at least 35 and not more than 70 years old.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same sub-committee also recommended a bicameral parliamentary system. It is a system of political organization that divides the Parliament into two separate chambers: a National Assembly and a Senate. Deputies will be elected for a renewable 5-year term and Senators for a renewable 6-year term. 35 years is the minimum age proposed by the sub-committee to be a senator, and 25 years minimum to be a deputy. It should be noted that 21 year old Chadians can also be local elected officials.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From tomorrow Wednesday during the plenary, these recommendations will be considered by the assembly. There could be amendments before a possible adoption.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another no less important report is expected at the plenary.
