As part of the scientific symposium organised by the National University of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (UNSTIM) in Abomey, several partner companies were present. On this occasion, FENAGIB ( National Federation of Industrial Associations and Groups of Benin), represented by its vice-president, Mr. Salim Baalbaki, promised training courses to the students of the said university.<\/p>\n\n
Indeed, noting that “Benin’s industry has fallen behind because industrialisation was not a priority for the various governments”, the vice-president of FENAGIB nevertheless pointed out that the country of the Amazons is evolving today with a remarkable ascendancy. “At a time when Benin is developing at an unprecedented rate, it is up to each of us to contribute to this development in our own way. And for FENAGIB, the best way to participate in the industrial development of the country is to accompany the UNSTIM students in the practical phase of their training. “Dear students, the future belongs to you. This is an opportunity to tell you that FENAGIB in collaboration with your schools and universities, provides you with practical training in the factories of its members throughout the national territory,”<\/strong> promised Mr. Salim Baalbaki.<\/p>\n\n This promise already appears to be a solution to the difficulties faced by the rectoral team of this high place of knowledge. “One of the difficulties we have is the placement of students in internships because, very often, the structures are more and more reluctant,” confirmed the vice-rector in charge of university cooperation at UNSTIM, Mr Thierry Godjo.<\/p>\n\n It should also be remembered that this scientific symposium is coupled with the first career days of this specialised university. These days are initiated to allow students to identify all the professions that they can embrace in their training.
