A man tried to break into Rihanna’s home yesterday, Thursday March 23, 2023. He was apprehended by the superstar’s security service.
Rihanna received an unexpected visit at her private estate in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Indeed, a stranger tried to sneak into it. When questioned, the unidentified man revealed his intentions. He claimed to have come from South Carolina for the sole purpose of proposing to Rihanna. The security team immediately called the cops.
According to US media TMZ, law enforcement officials handcuffed the intruder on the spot and put him in their vehicle for questioning. The police questioned him about why he had tried to break into Rihanna’s house. The man was not found guilty of any offense. He was released and forbidden from returning to the Barbadian singer’s residence.
However, it was not made clear whether Rihanna, her partner Asap Rocky and their child were at home at the time.
This is not the first time that the 35-year-old artist has been confronted with such a situation.
In 2018, Eduardo Leon broke into Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles. He was reportedly inside the house for at least a day, while Rihanna was away, before being discovered. He allegedly confessed to the police that he was there to have sex with the singer. The intruder was given five years’ parole.
