The famous Nigerian musician Davido believes that money is at the root of many of society’s problems. He said so in a publication on the social network X on Friday, September 1.
In the said publication, which has gone viral, Davido asked his fans if it wouldn’t be wise to ban the use of money. He gave as his reason all the problems that money creates in society.
He wrote : “Shey make them ban money? Na money dey cause problems.”
The artist seems to agree with the philosophy that sees money as the root of all evil. His opinion elicited mixed reactions from his fans. Some agree with him while others think the opposite. For the latter, it’s easy to say such things when you’re well off. In fact, Davido’s net worth is about $27.6 million in 2023.
