    Quail’s egg : a well-known treasure

    Quail eggs, good for better health

    Quail egg is one of the best and healthier egg. Thanks to its numerous nutritional virtues, it reveals itself to be a real remedy against respiratory diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, cough or sinusitis.

    Laid by a small migratory bird of the subfamily Perdicinae, the quail egg shell is beige-red with black or brown flecks and weighs about 20 grams. But its many virtues does not depends on its small weight . It is five times smaller than chicken eggs but it is considered to be animal product rich in protein, vitamin, mineral and enzyme.

    The benefits of quail egg

    Though very small, quail eggs are known to be the most nutritious egg in the world. It is recognized as the symbol of the perfect balance between all its components. Rich in phosphorus, it contributes to the brain’s good functioning and maintains dental and bone health. With six times more vitamin B1, quail eggs play a major role in growth and good functioning of the cardiovascular, digestive and nervous systems. It is seven times richer in iron, so a medicine for those with anemic problems. Thanks to its high level of vitamin B2, quail eggs help protect the nervous system, repair and tissue growth. It should also be noted that quail egg contains no cholesterol but a higher rate of amino-acids than any other eggs.

    A powerful allergy remedy

    With its various antioxidant and anti-inflammatory virtues, quail egg effectively limit allergies rhinitis and asthma. Indeed, Doctor Truffier in the year sixties, discovered the multiple therapeutic virtues of quail egg. He noticed, after eight years of experiments, that patients with allergies can be healed by eating quail eggs. Several years later in 2014, to further this research, a clinical trial conducted and published in the journal Food Science & Nutritionconcluded that eating quail eggs can quickly and effectively treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis, cough, ulcer, sinusitis, and hives caused by the most common allergens.
