orange IvoryCost inaugurated its new headquarters on Friday 14 January 2022. The said headquarters is located in Abidjan, more precisely in the Rivera Golf district of Cocody.

Since the laying of the foundation stone in 2017, it has taken 5 years to see the birth of this new headquarters of Orange Ivory Coast. Called “Orange village”, it is a 7-storey building with a surface area of 18,000m2 and a car park with 350 spaces. The building is large enough to accommodate 900 employees, which will foster collaboration, stimulate innovation and reduce work-related stress. Known for its commitment, Orange Côte d’Ivoire shows its dedication to serving its customers. “The construction of this new headquarters is a symbol of our strong and lasting presence in Ivory Coast to serve our clients. We have always been convinced of the immense potential of the continent and more particularly of West Africa. Ivory Coast is the spearhead of digital transformation. This new headquarters is a source of pride for the entire Orange Group. suggested Stéphane RICHARD, Chairman and CEO of the Orange Group (agenceecofin.com, 14 January 2022)

With an investment cost of 40 billion CFA francs, “Orange Ivory Coast” has a real “5G” technological showcase capable of offering a very high speed connection to all areas in full digital. This infrastructure will allow flexible use of workstations and a new experience of sharing and co-construction. It should be noted that as part of the Engage 2025 strategy, Ivorian Prime Minister Patrick ACHI officially opened the Orange Digital Center in Abidjan on 12 October, with a view to supporting start-ups by 2025.

Presided over by the President of the Ivorian Republic, H.E. Alassane OUATTARA, the inauguration ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Ivory Coast, Patrick Achi, Alioune NDIAYE, Chairman and CEO of Orange Africa and the Middle East, Stéphane RICHARD, Chairman and CEO of the Orange Group, Roger ADOM, Minister of the Digital Economy, Telecommunications and Innovation, and Mamadou BAMBA, CEO of Orange Ivory Coast.
