This Thursday, December 8 at the Palace of Governors in Porto-Novo, the President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, delivered the traditional speech on the state of the nation as required by the constitution. This was in the presence of deputies, government ministers and presidents of Beninese institutions. Over 40 minutes and in a reassuring and convincing speech, Benin’s chief magistrate took stock of the achievements of the year 2022 and the projections for 2023. Here is his full message.
