The 2022/23 Champions League season will come to an end on Saturday, June 10 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium (Istanbul, Turkey). As every year, an opening ceremony will precede the kick-off of the final.
L’interprète des tubes à succès mondiaux, Last Last et It’s plenty, donnera une performance en live lors de ladite cérémonie. L’information a été rendue publique sur la page Twitter de l’UEFA, le jeudi 13 mars 2023. Dans une courte vidéo de 14 secondes, Burna Boy, surnommé Odogwu, annonce avec grand entrain, sa présence: « Salut à tous. Je suis Burna Boy et j’ai une grande nouvelle à vous annoncer. Je serai sur scène lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture de la finale de la Ligue des champions de l’UEFA organisée par Pepsi. Allez, on y va.»

This is great news for football and afrobeat lovers who will be lucky enough to see the showman in action just before the final match. Burna Boy will certainly bring “good vibes and magic to Istanbul.”
Remember that Burna Boy was on stage with fellow Nigerian musicians Tems and Rema during the half-time show of the NBA All Star Game last February.
