Officially launched on Friday 21 October in Cotonou, Celtiis, the new 100% Beninese telephone operator, offers its subscribers attractive services at very competitive prices. The network already covers 80% of the country.

Designed and implemented by the Beninese State, Celtiis is under the aegis of Sbin Sa (Beninese Digital Infrastructure Company). It is the result of a successful South-South partnership between Benin and Senegal with the delegated management of Sbin by the Sonatel group, already present in five West African countries. The first global telecoms operator in Benin, Celtiis was born to accelerate Benin’s digital and economic inclusion, according to Thérèse Tounkara, Managing Director of SBIN. Celtiis is also a symbol of innovation, because its managers want to make it the favourite brand of the Beninese.

Celtiis covers 80% of Benin from launching

Celtiis is a brand 100% made in Benin. It identifies itself with the prefix 40 and number portability is possible with all other operators. The network already covers Grand Nokoué and all the departmental capitals to 100%. The other localities of the country are currently covered at 80% and the network is being extended to be accessible everywhere in the coming months. The director of the SBIN, Thérèse Tounkara, is delighted with this achievement. “It is extremely rare for a new mobile network to cover 80% of the population and territory on the first day of its launch,” she said proudly. He says the network offers new types of voice and internet packages with the best quality-price ratio in the market at 2G, 3G, 4G and 4G+ and will also be 5G compatible for future uses.

    Offers never before made

Among the offers that Celtiis provides, we note Celtiis Cash, which takes into account the mobile money component of the network. This service has an unbeatable 1% withdrawal rate for customers; a first in the country’s history. ” Celtiis Cash comes with an application for all customers. Whatever your operator, without the Celtiis Sim, you can use Celtiis Cash and all the innovations, », the SBIN director said. To make it easier for customers, Myceltiis Cash application is already available and can be downloaded in IOS and Android versions on the dedicated platform linktr.ee/celtiisbj . This application also allows you to benefit from the best offers from Celtiis, including the MyMix and Internet Connect packages.

In addition, with its so-called Top Call range, the subscriber gets more than three times the amount purchased to call freely to all networks. Calls between subscribers of the Celtiis network are charged at less than 1 F per second. In addition, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., the subscriber pays 50% less for all calls.

With the internet Connect range, internet connection becomes accessible to all. For example, the 1GB of internet is valid for three days at only 750f. And with 1000f, you are entitled to 1.4 GB of internet valid for one week and for only 3000f, 4.2 GB for one month. Celtiis Business offers specific services to companies and the State with very high speed connectivity and a latest generation data centre.
It should be noted that customer service is provided in all departments, at the level of the partners and in the branches in order to be closer to the local populations. The network also offers a major innovation with an unparalleled presence on all of its digital channels for instant support of customer needs.
