Nigerian singer Davido has thanked fellow South African Musa Keys via Twitter for blessing his hit Unavailable.

Long before the release of Timeless, Davido had announced that the album would feature several collaborations and a variety of musical genres. His featuring with Amapiano singer Musa Keys is one of the album’s signature song. Since its release, Unavailable has been a huge success worldwide. Released on April 11, the video has now racked up over 32 million views.

Delighted by this remarkable success, Musa Keys publicly thanked Davido for the visibility he gave him by featuring him on Timeless.

In response to this outpouring of gratitude, Davido also thanked the South African singer.

“Thanks to you too for blessing my song,” he retweeted.

Davido and Musa Keys were both in concert on 7 July in Houston (Texas) and Belgium respectively. They both performed their own versions of the hit that brought them together.
