Last Wednesday, a dancer nicknamed Dada died in the middle of shooting a music video of the Ivorian artist Serge Beynaud. JB Moloko, another dancer who was a witness, revealed the exact circumstances of Dada’s death. He also revealed Beynaud’s reaction to the news of his death.
The news of the death of the dancer Dada in the middle of shooting a video music of Beynaud was hard to swallow for the Ivorian community.
Although various explanations have been given, no official version explaining how this tragedy happened exactly has been shared. One of the dancers of Beynaud’s team, JB Moloko, willingly informed the Internet users.
According to him, the tragedy occurred during the break. Dada, known for his playful temperament, approached the electrical wires and spotlights for an unknown reason. The accident allegedly happened in a split second. As soon as they sensed there was a problem, those present rushed to their friend’s rescue.
“By the time we got there, Dada was in agony. We went down to where he fell so we could get him out. But he weighed so much that we couldn’t pick him up. We were finally able to lift him up. We got him out. But he had already started to get hard. We found a spoon and put it in his mouth. We patted his feet. But Dada did not react. We found a car to send him to Angré University Hospital.”

An hour later, the doctors told them that Dada had expired.
As you might expect, Serge Beynaud was broken by this news. According to JB Moloko, the artist immediately lost his zest for life.
When Beynaud heard this, the only words he said were, “I’m screwed. He was really depressed. I had never seen my big brother like that. Someone who is jovial, who teases us every day… I’m telling you, Beynaud was like a child. He was really depressed,” said JB Moloko.
