The Nigerian singer Peter Okoye or Mr. P, member of the duo P Square reacted to the “Hakimi case” which is widely reported on social networks since April 14.
The Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi reportedly divorced his wife Hiba Abouk. According to information relayed by the media on the Internet, the latter demanded half of the property of the defender of PSG. Unexpectedly, she allegedly found out that her husband had nothing because he had put all his fortune in his mother’s name.
This story has been widely reported since then on social networks. Many men have set Hakimi up as a hero, praising him for his intelligence and genius.
Peter Okoye aka Mr. P did not stay away from the reactions on this case. He shared his opinion in a series of tweets. Contrary to the opinions of the majority, Mr. P finds Hakimi’s alleged reaction unacceptable. On his Twitter account, he lectured those who hail Hakimi’s act. In addition, the singer advised men to refrain from marrying a woman if they cannot fully trust her.
“I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it. The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to surfer after divorce?
Remember!!! The one you trusted with all your property in the name of Mother was once your father’s wife. The mother u are clamoring about was/is also somebody’s wife at some point, before she became his mother. What if she was treated the same way?
Pls, Marry your Mother !»
Mr. P went on to say:
“Make those supposed Hakims twitter warriors have that kind of man as inlaw.
You go see how dem go humble dem sef!
Make all of una go marry una Mama! So you want a Son like Hakimi. But you don’t want a Husband like him too But you don’t want a Husband like him too. #SameFoodSamePoison
Lastly ! As Every Mother is Praying for a Son like 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐢, they should also Pray for a Husband like 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐢 and a Son In-Law like 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐢.”
His controversial opinion has sparked debates on social networks.
