T World Investment, an investment group specialising in participatory project financing, is organising the final phase of the “OSEZ” competition as part of its annual activities. This stage will be accompanied by many other activities on 14 and 15 April 2022 in the Blue Hall of the Palais des Congrès in Cotonou. They will be crowned by an award ceremony on Saturday 16 April.
T World Investment (TWI) is a group of investors of over twenty-two (22) different nationalities in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and around the world. In this team, each member brings his or her skills to bear in order to achieve the common vision, which is nothing less than development. Indeed, the organisation provides funding, training and support in order to reveal the project leaders. Thus, on the occasion of its routine activities, TWI has planned a series of activities at the Palais des Congres in Cotonou. These include the semi-final and final of the “OSEZ” competition, an exhibition, networking and partnerships, entrepreneurs’ conferences and prize-giving. A concert by the Beninese star Zeynab Habib will be part of the programme.
What is ” OSEZ ” competition?
World Investment, an international entity involved in several fields, is organising a competition for entrepreneurs from French-speaking countries in West Africa called “Osez”. The competition brings together companies operating in seven different sectors, namely: the textile and accessories industry; events, music and cinema; digital solutions and new technologies; beauty and cosmetics industry; agri-food; tourism and transport. Thus, applicants can seize the opportunity and win 13.000.000 F CFA for the financing of their project. This programme mainly concerns five French-speaking African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Togo and Ivory Coast. Its aim is to promote entrepreneurship, identify innovative projects and enable them to become reality.
In addition, it should be noted that the candidates worked together on a common project and individually on their projects which they will present to the jury in the final phase. The three winners, in addition to the 13,000,000 in funding, will have the support of experts and partner banks.
Meeting between Entrepreneurs and Investors
In addition to the two days of the competition, there will also be the Entrepreneurs and Investors meeting. This is an opportunity for a group of entrepreneurs from the Diaspora to get together, on the one hand to get to know Benin and its cultural diversity, but also to create a real bridge between Africa and its Diaspora on the other hand. Similarly, Beninese business leaders will be able to expand their professional networks, identify potential partners and develop new business relationships. This is in line with the Beninese government’s vision to provide opportunities for the diaspora to come and settle in Benin to develop their business locally and internationally. Stands will also be available for entrepreneurs who wish to exhibit and sell their products. Thus, through this network, T World Investment (TWI) puts itself at the service of the population and particularly of young people with business ideas and startups in order to reveal them to the world.
