The eyes area can play tricks with your face. It can make you look tired, sad or even older. But dark circles under the eyes are not inevitable. There are some remedies, some beauty gestures to reduce them. We suggest a few.
A dark circle mask.
To reduce the appearance of dark circles, we first suggest the lemon and honey mask. This mask will help you get rid of dark circles in no time. To do this, mix a little lemon juice, honey and warm water. Then put some of this mixture on cotton wool. Once the cotton wool has been soaked in the solution, all you have to do is apply it to the dark circles and leave it on for 10 minutes. Repeat this mask from time to time to say goodbye to dark circles around your eyes.
Cucumber, thanks to its preservative but also astringent properties (which tighten and dry the tissues), helps to remove dark circles. Simply slice a cucumber from the fridge. Then place the cut cucumbers on each eyelid for 10 to 15 minutes and you’re done. When you no longer feel the fresh effect of the cucumber on your eyelids, you can remove them. You do not need to rinse your face after this exercise.
Tomatoes are one of the most effective remedies for dark circles. It contains antioxidants that are of great help in the fight against dark spots around the eyes. At this point, mash a tomato until it becomes a paste. Then add a half-spoon of lemon and blend until smooth. Once the mixture is ready, apply it to the dark circles and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes. After this time, rinse with warm water. Do this remedy often while lying down if you expect a quick and effective result.
It is important to remember that dark circles are often caused by fatigue and lack of sleep. If you have dark circles, try to get enough rest without over sleeping.
