The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will play two friendly matches before the start of the next World Cup, scheduled from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
According to several sources relayed by Africa Top sports, the first friendly match will oppose the Indomitable Lions to Jamaica in Yaoundé. This meeting, scheduled for November 9, will be played mainly with local players and some expatriates, the release of most internationals by the clubs being scheduled for November 13.
The second match is scheduled for November 18 against Panama in a country near Qatar. It will be with all the players called for the World Cup 2022.
In total, five nations will represent the African continent at the 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar. They are Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon, Ghana and Tunisia. The African teams are placed in groups A, D, F, G and H.
Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands.
Group D: France, Denmark, Tunisia and Peru or Australia or United Arab Emirates.
Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia
Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea
