Recruitment of two (02) insurance companies : UNDP Guinea

    By Admirable Dansi8 August 2022Updated:8 August 2022

The UNDP as a whole (Administration, IMD projects and NIM projects’ technical management units) has more than sixty vehicles and about twenty motorcycles at its disposal.
Undoubtedly, the management of transport equipment is always accompanied by contingencies (traffic accidents) that can happen at any time and circumstance … The management of these contingencies is a real problem that the Office faces in the management of its fleet.
As the Office does not have the required skills in this area, soliciting the expertise of an insurance company is a proven solution in order to insure, on the one hand, our vehicles under civil liability, as recommended by UNDP policies, and on the other hand, to overcome the difficulties related to the follow-up of accident files, both at the level of road policies and insurance companies that are not diligent in their review or investigation procedures, and in the assumption of responsibility for damages caused to third parties.
In order to find an appropriate solution to these observations, the recruitment of a professional service provider, specialized in consulting and insurance, is necessary, in order to insure the vehicles of the Office, the IMD projects and the NIM project management units.
The objective of this recruitment is to select structures that would be able to provide not only strategic advice, but also to make the appropriate arrangements for the insurance and reinsurance of our vehicles, in accordance with the applicable policies in this regard. (SEE ATTACHED TDR).
