    Afroimpact ranked 29th in Feedspot's top 40 African news websites

    Feedspot examines African news sites according to well-defined criteria. For the current year, the agency has ranked forty of the thousands of news websites that exist on the web. In this batch, Afro Impact, a bilingual pan-African media, was ranked 29th.

    Feedspot is an RSS aggregator that relies on the capacity of the media to rank them. Indeed, Feedspot is a social feed reader that compiles news feeds from online information. Based in the United States in California, this agency examines and ranks African news sites based on their traffic, number of social media subscribers, area of authority and the freshness of the information published. The agency has a team of more than 50 experts whose objective is to discover and classify blogs, podcasts and youtube channels in several categories.

    As an entity that aggregates multiple feeds into one, Feedspot brings together feeds from authoritative and recognised influential media sites. It allows the Internet user to receive in one place a compilation of all his favourite websites. Beyond the simple syndication function, Feedspot offers other options such as brand monitoring, RSS widgets and a sharing accelerator. The agency currently has over 100,000 influential bloggers in a thousand categories.

    Afro Impact ranked 29th

    Afro Impact is a bilingual pan-African sector development media. A news site that aims to be a reference point for information and to breathe new life into the continent. It is a daily collection of the latest news from Africa with the motto “providing you with true, accurate, complete, independent, reliable and relevant information”.

    Note that to apply, publishers submit their blogs or podcasts to Feedspot using a form. The ranking is based on relevance, frequency of blog posts (freshness), social metrics, domain authority, traffic and many other criteria.
