La chef nigériane Hilda Baci entre dans le livre Guinness des records en brisant le record mondial de la plus longue durée de cuisine réalisée par un individu.

Born Hilda Bassey Effiong, Hilda Baci is a Nigerian chef, owner of the restaurant My food by Hilda.

Hilda was not a big celebrity until she took up a challenge that seemed impossible at first.

Break the Guinness record for the longest cooking time in the world!

The previous record (87 hours 45 minutes) was held by Indian chef Lata Tandon.

Hilda Baci had to cook for 04 days with very few breaks to reach her goal. An hour break in-between every 12 hours of cooking to refresh, rest, be massaged and examined by the health team.

Hilda Baci was alone behind the stove, but she was accompanied and supported by thousands of people: Nigerians, Africans and beyond.

    “All the best Hilda.
Hope to see you on Official Site of Guinness Book Of World Record Soon !!”

In addition, several Nigerian political leaders and personalities including Tiwa Savage, Charles Okocha have visited her to give her strength and energy so that she can keep going.

Despite the menstrual cramps, pain and fatigue, Hilda did not give up. The support and prayers (physical, by phone and online) surely helped her a lot.

And on the afternoon of May 15, the Nigerian chef reached her goal: 96 intense hours of cooking. Hilda Baci is therefore the new Guinness World record holder for the longest cooking time in the world.

As surprising as it may seem, Hilda Baci has not yet turned off the stove since May 11. She continues doing what she loves most with renewed energy. The crowd continues to cheer and celebrate her outside.

A true lesson in resilience and perseverance! She is now a national and continental pride.

How far will Hilda Baci go?
