Dans une interview après match contre le FC Barcelone dont son équipe le Bayern est vainqueur, l’international sénégalais Sadio Mané s’est exprimé sur les favoris du mondial 2022. According to him, five countries can claim the trophy. Not too many dreams to sell for his Senegal on this list of favourites. Senegal’s star player, Sadio Mané, has revealed his favourites to win the 2022World Cup in Group A against Qatar, Ecuador and the Netherlands. “Argentina is one of the countries that can win the World Cup. I watched Messi play yesterday (Tuesday). He is incredible! I’m not sure if he’s going to win the World Cup or not,” said the Bayern Munich striker, who spoke to ESPN Argentina on the sidelines of Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League.

Sadio Mané refrains from naming Senegal

Even if many observers see Senegal as capable of achieving a good result, the recent Golden Ball 2nd and winner of the first Socrates Prize for his social work in his country, was careful not to mention the Lions in the category of favourites.

”I don’t see Senegal as favourites because there are other nations far ahead like France, Spain… We will go there with composure and to try to do what we are used to doing,” the 2021 CAN winner recently told RMC.

It should be noted thatafter his first Socrates Award, Sadio Mané is in the running for the 12th edition of the Globe Soccer AwardsThe European Club Association (ECA) and the European Players’ Agents Association (EFAA) organise an annual awards event in Dubai.
