La Community Bank LTD, seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Internal Auditor
Role Summary
Manage the audit function and ensure efficient systems of control and compliance are in place and working in all sections of the bank
Qualification Required & Experience
A minimum qualification of first degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar qualification from a recognised university
Must be a certified internal auditor or a chartered accountant or in possession of a second degree in auditing / accounting
A minimum of 7 years auditing experience with at least 5 years in the financial services industry
Some system audit experience is preferred
Proficient in the use of an Accounting software
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent of banking operations
Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory frameworks both locally and at the international level including ITRS reporting, BASEL 2 and other international standards
Extensive working knowledge/experience of auditing standards and regulations
Bank of Ghana regulations and guidelines
Operations of rural & community banks
Developments and trends in the financial services industry
Location: Accra
