Proposed position: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Activities:
Within the Technology Department, the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for securing systems against the cyber threat. To do so, he/she will have to rely on a project management approach. As an SSI architect, he/she will be responsible for conducting risk analyses, developing technical specifications, monitoring industrial achievements and conducting the necessary synthesis operations to determine the level of confidence achieved by the systems from a security perspective. This position will require the incumbent to be in direct contact with companies and organizations.
On a strategic and organizational level:
Ensure continuous monitoring of current threats and cyber defense.
Document knowledge bases and treatment procedures
Constantly monitor software and hardware vulnerability
Analyze malware and all data breaches.
On the operational side:
Supervise and administer the Security Operating Center (SOC) solutions in complete confidentiality
Write product sheets
Detect, analyze and qualify incidents, threats and cyber attacks
Conduct a Cybersecurity Audit mission
Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity recommendations
Identify their sources, their mechanisms and block their access to existing solutions
Guarantee the analysis of the various computer data
Guide the technical teams in the implementation of patches and remedies to secure the network and computer systems
Write security procedures and raise awareness of network, data and computer system security issues
Ensure their application and their usability by all users
Carry out an in-depth study of potential risks and threats and analyze their implications at the technical level.
Identify and integrate security solutions into products or technical prototypes
Audit the security of the information system through automated penetration tests and post-incident analysis
To protect the company’s information system and ensure its quality.
Profile sought for the position: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
5 years of higher education: Systems and Network Security (MS SSR)
8 to 10 years of experience in the deployment of cybersecurity projects.
ISO 27001 and/or 270032 certification
PMO certification would be an asset.
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer masters the operation of network architectures (organization of transmission equipment, software, communication protocols and infrastructure).
He/she must combine theory and practice in cybersecurity and be a versatile trainer.
Practice with network protocol analysis tools is required (Wireshark, tcpdump, Network Miner, Violoneux, WinDump, etc.).
Knowledge of cyber security standards to ensure the implementation of an information security management system (ISMS) or Cyber Security Management System (CSMS).
